Helping PriceAgent Build a Website That Unlocked Funding and Future Growth

 The Background

The Rise of PriceAgent

PriceAgent is a pioneering Pricing Intelligence Platform delivering predictive pricing insights based on what customers are truly willing to pay. The underlying proprietary algorithm was perfected over a decade while being used to deliver pricing strategy insights through a consultancy-led service. In 2023, the company transitioned this expertise into a SaaS + Consultancy model—automating their pricing intelligence engine and enabling businesses to make data-driven pricing decisions at scale.

Despite early traction, PriceAgent’s go-to-market execution lacked strategic clarity and cohesion. Preliminary marketing efforts—developed in-house—created disjointed brand messaging and an inconsistent commercial narrative. It became clear that building a solid foundation was vital for future growth, positioning, and investor engagement.

Effixion Labs was brought on board to solve precisely that challenge: to build a strategic, scalable marketing foundation that could reposition PriceAgent as a credible SaaS leader in the Pricing Intelligence Technology space and catalyze its expansion.

  The Challenge

Misalignment Between Product Vision and Market Perception

PriceAgent’s existing website prioritized SEO efficiency—but at the expense of content clarity, usability, and user journey design. While it drew some traffic, the site failed to engage visitors, drive conversion, or communicate PriceAgent’s unique value. It was overly optimized for search engines, neglecting the narrative, experience, and flow a real prospect would need to convert.

The deeper issue, however, was systemic: PriceAgent lacked the foundational marketing components—such as a clearly defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), buyer personas, and a robust messaging framework to guide its marketing and sales initiatives. This absence meant that neither the website nor broader commercial efforts had a strong narrative anchor.

Without these marketing foundations in place, PriceAgent struggled to communicate its story to investors and clients alike, impeding traction, lead generation, and funding conversations.

 The Solution

A Strategic, Phased Marketing Transformation

Effixion Labs applied a structured, phased approach designed to rebuild PriceAgent’s marketing ecosystem from the ground up.

PHASE 1: Establish Marketing Foundations

  • Developed an ICP and three detailed buyer personas, each with clearly mapped pain points, motivations, and influence roles.

  • Built a Value Proposition Canvas to align product features with customer jobs, pains, and gains.

  • Developed a comprehensive Brand and Product Messaging Framework encompassing Purpose, Mission, Vision, Core Values, Value Proposition, Brand Story, and supporting product benefits, value drivers, and proof points.

  • Delivered a foundational Brand Identity and visual style guide to ensure consistency across all channels.

PHASE 2: Website Strategy and Development

  • Translated Phase 1 outputs into a clear digital experience strategy with defined KPIs.

  • Designed and implemented a new website using a flexible, scalable tech stack that enabled persona-aligned journeys, modern UI/UX, and SEO best practices.

  • Crafted the site structure and content to reflect the new product narrative and commercial clarity—balancing engagement with performance.

PHASE 3 (Now Underway): Demand Generation Engine

  • Activating campaigns, building inbound channels, and driving growth through coordinated content, PR, social and paid media strategies.

  • Integrating lead capture forms, CRM tools, content hubs, and demo assets to support a full-funnel user journey.

  • This phase is now being transitioned to PriceAgent’s internal marketing team for activation, with Effixion Labs continuing to provide strategic oversight and consulting support as needed.

 The Results

Foundation to Funding and Beyond

Following the launch of the brand and website work completed in Phase 1 and 2, PriceAgent successfully secured a €550,000 seed funding round, backed by high-profile investors. The updated brand positioning and online presence helped:

  • Demonstrate product-market fit and vision to investors

  • Present a professional, polished brand aligned with SaaS best practices

  • Support the PriceAgent commercial team in clearly and confidently communicating their value proposition

Effixion Labs conducted stakeholder interviews, assessed internal materials, and analyzed existing customer data to shape the ICP, personas, and brand story. These foundational assets then informed every aspect of the new website architecture, navigation logic, and content strategy.

With a compelling narrative, a high-performing site, and clear go-to-market foundations in place, PriceAgent is now positioned to scale. The company is entering Phase 3: activating its demand generation engine with internal leadership and Effixion Labs’ support.

This engagement demonstrates how strategic marketing foundations, when implemented holistically, enable B2B SaaS brands to move from fragmented tactics to unified, scalable growth execution.

 Effixion Labs Approach

Putting Philosophy into Practice

At Effixion Labs, we believe great marketing is a balance of Efficiency and Experience.

Efficiency gets you visibility—driven by smart content architecture, SEO strategy, lead automation, and a streamlined lead generation framework. Experience makes you unforgettable—through compelling content, intuitive design, and emotionally resonant messaging.

In PriceAgent’s case, their legacy website leaned too far toward efficiency, and their commercial narrative suffered. Our approach deliberately rebalanced the equation: retaining the technical wins, while rebuilding the brand experience to deliver clarity, connection, and conversion.

By applying our framework across three connected phases—Foundations, Website, and Demand Generation—we’ve created a marketing system designed not only to perform, but to scale.
